Erythritol is a natural sweetener with no calories. Commonly found in fruit and vegetables, as well as plant seeds and mushrooms, erythritol has a delicate and sweet flavor. It is used for cooking and baking, as it helps reduce the caloric content of the meals. What is more, erythritol does not cause tooth decay. After consumption, it is rapidly cleared from the body. It can be used by diabetics. Another advantage of erythritol is that even when consumed in large quantities, it does not produce laxative effects.
